Life Before

I grew up wanting to be an artist and creating murals on the walls of my high school. My family and friends all saw me as a future artist or architect. One day on the stage of a local pageant, I decided to become a NURSE instead! I planned on working with children and doing art on the side. Those plans changed and I pursed working in the areas of trauma and critical care with many years in leadership roles.

Retiring from nursing, I wanted to bring a holistic based approach to healthcare and leadership development to the public. Understanding the need from both personal and professional experiences. I know firsthand the need for sustainable, understandable and vital self care modalities that are the “missing link” when it comes to preventative self care and reducing stress-induced illness. Mind, Body, Spirit and Emotional workshops have become the new “calling card” for me as this brings my enthusiastic, creative, and evidence-based practices to people everywhere.

Holding a Master of Science in nursing, I am a leading authority in the area of integrative health, professional development and holistic treatment options.

After over 30 years in the healthcare field, I decided to return to my passion and love of working with the creative and artistic side of life! I have also taught Pre-School Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for over 15 years, and of course, crafts are my line of specialty. I recently trained in Colorado to teach Integrative Stress Management and I am currently a Wellness Advocate with Doterra. Having worked in healthcare and seeing so many struggles with health, pain, and burnout, I have now decided to pursue teaching classes and help promote health and wellness with a focus on prevention. This also includes working with children and teaching the arts and crafts.

My Family

I have been blessed to be surrounded by my family. I am the oldest of five children, all of whom live in the immediate area except for one brother in Texas. I am married with three beautiful children, Amanda, Matthew, and Nathaniel (born in that order) and two grandchildren, Taylor and Easton who have the biggest part of my heart! We have many pets, which include our therapy dog, Kai the Cockapoo, Ginger is the stray cat that my son rescued, a rabbit, and hamster.

Hobbies

My hobbies have been many over the years from scrapbooking to stamping and card making. I enjoy anything creative and artistic. I also love to travel and have recently been to Colorado, and Salt Lake City, Utah. With that being said, I created this business that combines everything in life that I love; especially helping others live a healthier life.
